Order and Delivery
Guide
Please note that it is very
important that you allow yourself plenty of time when ordering your gown, this
will avoid the disapointment of not receiving your gown/dress on time.
Bridal gowns generally take 12 weeks to be made and Bridesmaids, Formal
Dresses etc generally take 8 weeks to made. After production is
complete delivery can take from 1-7 business days depending on your
postcode. We also have a rush service for wedding dresses to be made in 8-10
weeks and all other dresses in 4-5 weeks. Please note that extra charges
will apply. You must contact us first to see if we can deliver your
dress to you on time.
All of our gowns are custom made to order and
are NOT in stock. Although we have a quicker turn around time than
most stores you will still need to leave ample time for your gown to be
made,shipped, processed and delivered. For wedding dresses we recommend
that you order at least 4 months before your wedding, for Bridesmaids/Flower
Girls, Formal Dresses etc we recommend that your order at least 3 months in
advance.
MANUFACTURER'S
CLOSURE IN JANUARY 2014
Please note that our manufacturer will
be closed for three weeks in late January to early February 2014 for their
annual holiday, so this will affect our standard delivery time. When
ordering around this time the delivery time will be longer. Rush
orders are not available at this time. If you order in November/December
or January Bridal gowns will take up to 14 weeks, all other dresses
will take up to 10 weeks so please allow extra time when you are ordering over
this period.
* Busy Period – Due to the closure of our office over the
Christmas and New Year period, and our Manufacturer‘s closure in late
January 2014, production times will take longer. Please note that we
cannot rush any dresses during the busy period, so please plan
ahead.
Please note that if you are not available at the time of delivery
a card will be left by Australia Post so that you can pick your parcel up from
your local post office. Over 90% of orders shipped by Australia Post
arrive within normal transit times, if you have any concerns with delivery
please notify our customer service department at dressofyourdreams@bigpond.com
quoting your tracking number. Please note that once an order has left
our premises Dress of Your Dreams cannot be held responsible by delays caused by
Australia Post or any other carrier, as these are conditions out of our
control. If you have not received your order in a timely manner once
you have received confirmation from us that your order has been dispatched,
please contact us immediately and we will launch an
investigation.

INTERNATIONAL
CUSTOMERS
 Gothic Weddings ships internationally, we are
currently shipping our gowns to the USA, Canada, New Zealand, The
UK, Asia and Europe. If you would like to receive a quote on
international shipping please email us at gothicweddings@bigpond.com International customers do not pay any GST (sales
tax) on their order, simply select the international button when
ordering this will automatically remove the GST for
you. If you would like to convert your currency please use the
following link www.ex.com We are happy to answer any enquiries that you may have so
please do not hesitate to contact us.
Please note that
Gothic Weddings cannot be held responsible if your order is ceased
by customs in your country, or if there is a delay in customs
clearance in your country. Your package may be subject to the
customs fees and import duties of your country. These
charges are always the recipient's
responsibility We highly recommend that you check with
your local customs before ordering.
Gothic Weddings uses
Express Courier International (EMS) or
DHL. Express Courier International is a reliable cost
effective international courier service. It offers
reliable door-to-door delivery within 5-7 business days
between metropolitan areas of most major cities and provides
tracking for most destinations.
